Aka Nesha or Sanesha. - Stewart was stabbed multiple times inside a
Belmont apartment building about 6 a.m. Saturday, police said. Steve
McMillan, 37, was arraigned Monday on murder and weapons charges;
the sources said he was the prostitute's john who became enraged
when he learned his partner was not a woman. Prosecutors allege
McMillan stabbed Stewart in the neck and chest. There were also
defensive wounds on Stewart's hands, a police source said. A
spokeswoman with the medical examiner's office said the fatal blows
penetrated Stewart's throat and lung.
