Patrick Patricia Murphy
Murdered January 9, 2008
Patrick "Patricia" Murphy, 39, Albuquerque, NM.
Shot three times in the head.  Friends and coworkers said they were
concerned when Murphy started spending time with Madsen, and
believed he allegedly killed her because he was uncomfortable with his
sexuality.  Dana Madsen, 33, said he shot Murphy in the head, Murphy
dropped to the ground, then Madsen shot Murphy in the head again, but
Murphy was still "shaking and screaming" so another shot was fired into
his head to "put him out of his misery," the complaint says.  He is in the
Metropolitan Detention Center on an open count of murder and is being
held in lieu of $1 million cash or surety bond.
